How to buy?:
Click your preferred currency: $39.90 (USD) / €37.90 (EUR) / £30.90 (GBP) – This platform works with credit & debit cards and / or PayPal. You will receive a download link to your e-mail after the purchase (check your spam folder too).
What’s in the bundle?:
You will receive all the sounds from all my demos plus extra. This is over 300 unique sounds that are spread across 216 presets (many of which are dual-timbre). You will also receive all the sequences that I play. Mod wheel is assigned in all of the presets. Some (but not all) presets have aftertouch and macro knob assigned.
What format / import method?:
My presets come in standard Moog Muse (*.mmp) format. Treat these as computer files that you load into the Muse by using its flash drive feature (boot your Muse in “disk mode”, and when it appears as a new disk drive you can just open / explore it and copy + paste the files).
What genre / style?:
There is no one style, because YOU decide what style these patches will be played in:) It’s a wide variety of sounds that are meant to inspire, make you look at the synth in a different light and give you a great choice of directions. Some patches are bread & butter, some offbeat; they’re the result of me trying to find the limits of the instrument. The sounds are ready-to-use in music or can serve as starting points; just pick the textures or dynamics that you like and easily fine-tune them to suit your exact taste or purpose.
Any external stuff?:
I did not use any external FX in the demo; all the delays, reverbs, noises & sound deformations are part of the Moog Muse engine / sound design. However, I used some EQ-ing on some of the sounds (no boosting, just limiting).

OFFICIAL LAUNCH ANNOUNCEMENT
A while back Moog Music contacted me and said they liked my work. They asked if I’d like to take part in the development of a new analog poly-synth. I agreed and from that moment I became bound by a non-disclosure agreement, so I could not share any details. Today the Muse is ready!
I’d like to thank the amazing people at Moog for inviting me to the team – working with you has been an invaluable experience. I’m also proud to be included together with inspiring artists such as Kevin Carballo, Cloudface, Lisa Bella Donna, Steve Dunnington, Manny Fernandez, Eric Frampton, Chris Miller, Erik Norlander, Stephen Petoniak, Max Ravitz, Drew Schlesinger and Danny Wolfers in the group of sound designers who have created factory presets for this exceptional instrument. It’s been very nice meeting you!
Future Muse owners – I hope you like our sounds and find them inspiring in your sonic journeys and valuable in the process of learning how to get the most out of this deep synth.
Everyone who is curious about the Muse – stay tuned for comprehensive sound demos where I’m going to show the wide array of unique timbres Moog Muse is capable of making.
cheers;
Jexus

SOME NOTES / BACKGROUND:
Hey, thanks for your interest in the Jexus Moog Muse Soundset – the fruit of my 2-year labor of love! As some of you know, I was one of the sound designers who made factory presets for the Moog Muse. During our work we were given a certain amount of freedom, but there were some rules we had to adhere to. There were some areas in which the presets had to meet certain demands / stick to a certain vision. Early firmware limitations also played a role.
The demos / presets that I’m releasing today (for firmware version 1.3 minimum) are free from all those limitations. One of the consequences of this is that they will be quieter than factory presets and possibly other third-party commercial presets. This applies to the VCA section, or the Mixer section, or both. If you like the way the presets sound and wish to buy them, just remember this small fact, as I’m not providing a “loud version” for this preset pack. You can raise the levels yourself, but by doing so you will also change the textures / dynamics / stereo behavior of the sounds.
The Jexus Moog Muse Soundset contains over 200 brand-new patches, many of which are dual-timbre, so if we add up all the unique timbres (timbre A + B), the library comes with over 300 unique & new sounds. In my demos I am also playing / demonstrating some factory patches that I made for the Moog Muse. These patches are my favorites, I adjusted / improved them and I wanted to play them “my way”;) You can download the original factory patches for free on Moog’s website. The improved Jexus factory patches are included as a free bonus in the library file that you’re buying.
Many of the presets demonstrated in my Youtube videos are played with the delay set to 12-bit mode to add some grittiness, but when you load the soundset into your Muse, the majority of presets will actually load up as 16-bit to give you a clean starting point experience.
Unfortunately for those of you who like to read my synth write-ups, this time I won’t be publishing a review for the obvious reason that it would be a conflict of interest. Due to my involvement with Moog it would be impossible to stay and / or be perceived as unbiased & objective. I hope you enjoy the videos and they’re enough for you to form an opinion on the synth (whatever technical questions you may have, ask them in the video comments and I’ll see if I can help).
P.S. Let your Muse warm up good before playing these presets. If it does not reach its full / optimal stability, some of the presets may sound a little bit different, especially the ones using FM or extreme resonance settings.

I’m so pleased you got to work on this and I’m thinking of getting a muse. Had great fun with the matriarch but want to try something different and perhaps deeper. Knowing you were involved just adds this other cool enigmatic thing to it.
This made me giggle. I actually tired out the muse and really liked it myself. And I went to originally try the the trigon which was nice but I felt it sonically similar to other sequentials in sound design. So on the muse..thought it was well layered out. A bit confusing at first but I got the hang of it. And said one of these sounds in here has to be Jexus or something lol. And here we are. Congrats to you doing what you love and being asked to do them in a great instrument. I’m no seriously considering getting one.
Just got you soundset for the Sequential Take 5. Amazing work! I’m hoping to find the same magic in your Moog Muse soundset. Where can I find them?
Thanks Chris! Moog Muse videos / presets will be released soon!
Moog has good taste! I’ve always admired your work and can’t wait to hear your full sound banks for this! I just got my Muse and absolutely love it, glad you were a part of this!
Thanks! My Muse video & sounds coming soon!
Can’t wait I need some new sounds
What do you think about the Muse? Have you had it for long now?
Great! Well deserved for the excellent sound design and your crazy style that we love so much! 🙂
I bought this synth which I already love and can’t wait to hear your work on it!
Thanks! Working on a big set of Muse sounds now!
wow! congrats my man
Interested about your opinion on it, how do you see it up against Moog One, Arturia Polybrute in terms of sound vintage/modern?
Fantastic and wel deserved Jexus! Your sound design on so many synthesizers is beyond great.
Thank you!
