COMING OUT OF THE SHADOWS!
In 2025 Ashun Sound Machines contacted me and asked if I would like to create a set of unique presets for their new upcoming synth. No details were disclosed about the instrument but, as you can imagine, I was curious. I agreed and several weeks later a monster 8-oscillator synth arrived at my doorstep. Today all of you can see it and hear it in action – the LEVIASYNTH is ready!
Thank you ASM for including me in this exciting project. Future Leviasynth owners – I hope you like our sounds and find them inspiring in your sonic journeys and valuable in the process of learning how to get the most out of this deep synth. Everybody in the team: Alex Schetter, Boele Gerkes, Dominic Au, Glen Nelson, Just Blaze, Ken “Flux” Pierce, Lawrence “Random” Philip, Manny Fernandez, Moot Booxlé, Pascal “Push-Pull” Girod, Paul Schilling, Roger Austli, Sergio Assunção, Synth Universe, Victor Morello, Vulture Culture – congratulations!
Unfortunately for the readers of my website / blog or anybody who likes my synth write-ups, this time I won’t be publishing a review for the obvious reason that it would be a conflict of interest. Due to my involvement with ASM it would be impossible to stay and / or be perceived as unbiased & objective.
However, here’s a quick video with some factory presets I created. It’s something different this time, as according to the guideline the sounds needed to be less bombastic. Phase two will bring more wild & experimental stuff. In the demo I kept the internal reverb low, binaural mode mostly off, and did a fair amount of tweaking to give you a better idea of the timbre / behavior of the synth. Due to hectic circumstances, NAMM & all, this time the video comes in a “no hands” format.
If you have questions, ask on Youtube in the video’s comments!
cheers;

I like it with hands, since i have no clue on playing synths IRL. I only buy them and feed them cv gate or midi 😀
